To-day I bike, to-morrow I hike, the next day we I’ll go on trip by boat
The lagoon scenery at Sellin Lake is an ideal destination for family tours by bike. While the trip through Granitz forest and to the 170m high temple hill is a physical challenge, the rolling meadows of the surroundings are a delight for kith and kin.
Whoever is on its way in Sellin and its surroundings, may always rely on public transport. The local bus goes to the villages in Sellin hilly land from May 1st to October. Busses of public transport (RPNV) are the best way to bridge larger distances. They even take bicycles, from May to December in special busses carrying bike trailers (RADzfatz). With your tourist card, these transport routes are free. Pleasure boats go to the other seaside resorts or to the Isle of Usedom directly from Sellin pier. From Baabe bulwark, there are sailing trips with a traditional red-sailed “Zeese” fishing boat and other boats.
