Combined the lines 20 and 21 of the VVR drive the whole vacation region Mönchgut-Granitz from Dalkvitz via Zirkow, Sellin, Baabe, Göhren to Mönchgut, via Middelhagen, Gager, Thiessow to Klein Zicker. Relaxed you can reach the departure ports of the Weiße Flotte.
The Sellin Bäderbahn and „Uns lütt Bahn“ in Baabe shuttle to all important destinations of the two Baltic resorts during the summer months. Whether you want to go to the beach, shopping or to the museum – a stop is always nearby. You simply jump on and reach your destination comfortably.
Where the Bäderbahn ends in Sellin, the local bus starts. It takes you comfortably to Seedorf and Moritzdorf, Neuensien and Altensien as well as to Baabe in close intervals. With the local bus you will discover quaint villages, unique Bodden landscape and great viewpoints.
BUSkam is the promising name of the local bus in the Baltic resort of Goehren and takes you comfortably through the town center from the north to the south beach. It is on the road from morning to night and also operates in the evening hours during the summer. Stops are well distributed in the municipal area.
From March to November ships of the Weiße Flotte shuttle between Sellin, Baabe, Gager, Thiessow and Lauterbach through the Sellin Lake and the Baabe Bek. From harbor to harbor there are great views of the Bodden landscape. For spa card holders of the vacation region Mönchgut-Granitz the trip is free of charge. Pulled by a steam locomotive, the Rügensche BäderBahn (RüBB) runs from Putbus to Göhren and also makes stops in Binz, Sellin and Baabe. For more than one hundred years, the narrow-gauge railroad has been on the move on Rügen. Dining cars and a carriage with a panoramic view make the trip on a gauge of only 570 mm additionally attractive, even though the Rügensche BäderBahn (RüBB) only travels at a speed of around 30 kilometers per hour. The Rügensche BäderBahn (RüBB) is not a partner of the „Free Ride Ticket“.
The shipping company Adler-Schiffe is also not a partner of the „Freifahrtschein“, but a trip is still worthwhile! Because the passenger ships will take you across the Baltic Sea to the chalk coast, to Göhren or to Peenemünde. Accompanied by a light breeze, nimble seagulls and the friendly voice of the captain, everyone becomes a world explorer. Especially the chalk cliffs are best seen from the sea. Around Rügen, the Adler ships take you to the diversity of the local Bodden coasts.
