With the right eye for proportions and the aesthetic power of details, the former Sellin fire station was converted into a residential building with a gallery. Somewhat off the tourist track, carefully curated exhibitions of art from Germany and Scandinavia can be seen here, reflecting the historic site into the future.
Knut Hartwich develops his programme as a lover of interesting constellations, which he makes visible in congenial presentations. In doing so, the works often enter into a relationship with the carefully restored site.
