Open Spa Cures
Naturally you may take a cure at your own cost at any time. But almost everybody has a claim to a cure, to be taken over by any provider of the strucured social insurance system or at least subsidized by it, if an illness is imminent or acute that could promisingly be cured in a health spa.

How do I get an »open spa cure«?
First of all you should get a confirmation or a prescription respectively of the urgency of an „open spa cure” by your doctor in attendance. Before you begin your cure you should apply for a takeover of cost at your health insurance.
Ask your family doctor to apply at your health insurance for an ambulant cure treatment.
Most of the health insurances have adequate application forms ready. On the basis of our cure indications your doctor can easily see, if such a treatment is sensible in your special case. Your health insurance needs approximately three to four weeks for processing. Best results are achieved, if the cure at the seaside is carried through as early as possible and lasts as long as necessary (at least three weeks).
A repetition is often sensible, but normally the health insurance will grant it again only after four years.
What does an »open spa cure« cost?
Normally the costs for your cure treatment are taken over up to a maximum of 90 %, for residence costs it grants a subsidy of EUR 8,-- at a maximum per day. As soon as your health insurance confirms the takeover of costs, you can start to prepare your journey...

After your arrival meet your spa doctor to get a prescription of the remedies suitable for you. You receive your treatments at our physiotherapists or directly in your hotel.
