Everymen Race starts at Sellin pier
At “2nd RügenChallenge” numerous cyclists are expected in the seaside resort

At “Tour d’ Allée Rügen” an everyman race takes place for the first time. Everybody who is fit enough may join the tour. The “Everyman Race 2nd RügenChallenge” takes place under the patronage of Olympics winner Olaf Ludwig and is the new highlight of this cycling weekend. Start and finish for the 57 or 100 km long tour to Putbus, Garz and Bergen and back is the upper Wilhelmstraße at the Sellin pier. Here will also be hold a market around cycling. Exclusive partner of the cycling event is Cliff Hotel Rügen, where the 20 km long Family Tour starts. 

“Tour d’Allée Rügen” had been initiated in 1995 to point to the importance of alleys on Rügen isle. In the meantime it has become one of the most important German cycling events. On the third weekend in October professional and amateur cyclists participate. Also famous cyclists, like world champions Rudi Altig, Falk Boden, Bernd Drogan, Olaf Ludwig, Andreas Petermann or Uwe Raab are expected. Hundreds of sports enthusiasts from all over Germany participate at the 111 km long tour around Greater Jasmund Bodden. At “Cycling with the VIPs” everybody cycles in family friendly speed across “Rügen Bridge”.
