Two sun-kissed beaches tempt the visitor of the Baltic seaside resort Sellin to spend a recreational holiday by the seafront! Nestled in the bay and suited ideally for swimming, with a view to the Baltic seaside resorts Baabe and Gohren, the Southern beach is the actual “bath” of Sellin. The Northern beachfront starts directly at the famous pier „Seebrücke“ below the wooded cliff. Here you may relax amidst nostalgic charm in a wicker beach chair and just watch the sea. Or you may enjoy a rejuvenating walk, go for a jog or set off for a Nordic Walking trip along the seafront. Over the “stairway to heaven” you reach the splendid “Wilhelmstraße” close by with inviting boutiques, cafés und restaurants.

On the promenade, just behind the dunes, there is ample catering trade – for everybody. At the northern beach with the historical seabridge you enjoy relaxing calm and, apart from that, a magnificent view to the steep chalk cliff line of the peninsula Jasmund.

On our beaches you move completely natural and informal. For small and kind dogs there is a separate part of the beach reserved. Naturally also for those, who left their swimming suits at home. Specially recommended are long walks along the picturesque cliff line below the beech woods of the Granitz.
