Granitz Woods

The beech wood reaches to the steep coast, forming the northern border of the Granitz. On the highest top of the Granitz, the ”Temple Hill”, the Prince to Putbus built his hunting castle in the nineteenth century.
You can take many beautiful walks through the Granitz. Either along the steep coastal path between Binz and Sellin or through the woods past the moor and the “Black Lake”. A marvellous experience is also a tour with the Ruegian narrow gauge railway "Racing Roland", through the Granitz.
