Sellin’s soft and cosy ice bear, who runs sweating through the streets of the Baltic seaside resort in high summer, is looking forward to winter. There is plenty of reason for him because from December to February the ice rink in Sellin Seepark is the biggest attraction for all arctic beings and those who wish to become one.

On the only ice rink on the isle of Rügen one may even skate, if the “bodden” are not frozen. There is always something on at the ice rink. Regular visitors bring their own skaters, who does not, may easily rent a pair. And off you go on the 550 m² large ice surface.

Experts visit the sauna area of the leisure pool. Ice and hot wet air – an healthy combination and fun for the whole family. The spa administration is so proud of the ice rink, that it time and again presents special events to it.  Just by the rink punch is served and snacks. Families love to spend their whole holidays here.
