Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern – Spring of Music on Rügen Island
 In March 2012 Mecklenburg Western Pomerania’s classical music festival starts a new season festival – the Rügen Island Spring of Music (Festspielfrühling Rügen). The island’s magnificent scenery, beaches, Baltic Sea horizons and cultural heritage buildings will be the event’s backdrops. From 16th to 25th March 2012 you will experience an attractive, high class music and cultural programme at well known as well as at new, unusual venues.
The Fauré Quartet, one of the most renowned German chamber music ensembles and multiple ECHO award winner has taken over the artistic direction. They present top class musicians like Martin Stadtfeld and popular German TV stars like Alfred Biolek and Sky du Mont.
With their partner hotels “Festpiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern” offer package rates including concert tickets, hotel accommodation with breakfast and meal arrangements.

The concert ticket office opens one hour before the concert starts. There will be a fee of 2 Euro per ticket purchased at the venue.
