The „Bodden” around Ruegen and Fishing The island you behold today is the result of a manifold natural evolution enlasting 4000 years. There had been no limits to the abundant splendour of diversity. Moenchgut is very profitable, because from its fishing ports Gager and Thiessow there are rather short ways to „bodden” and Baltic sea alike. Every fish is hard to catch, this makes it so interesting to go fishing here. But you can also reach the close by „bodden” by bike and go fishing there without having moved your car.
